Ein Weidenhaus im Odenwald

Veröffentlicht Bildhauer

Dieses Stelzenhaus haben wir bei Freunden im Odenwald nahe Wald-Michelbach gebaut. Die Grundplattform sollte eine fünfeckige Fläche bilden, die durch ihre Unregelmäßigkeit ein interessantes Raumgefühl erzeugt. Da die Eiche noch nicht groß genug für ein im-Baum-hängendes Baumhaus war, haben wir uns für eine Plattform auf Stelzen entschieden, die an drei Punkten auf dem Boden steht, an einem aufgehängt und am fünften den Baum als Stützpfeiler hat. Hier das Video dazu:

 

Die Grundkonstruktion und die Plattform bestehen aus hiesigen, gerade gewachsenen Douglasienstämmen. Die Stützpfeiler stehen auf großen Sandstein-Findlingen, die wir vorher in der Umgebung ausgegraben und an Ort und Stelle geschafft haben.

Bei den Wänden haben wir selbstgeschnitte Weidenzweige aus einem nahe gelegenen Bachtal verwendet. Von dort stammt auch der Eichenstamm für die Treppenkonstruktion.

Bei allen Materialbeschaffungen war uns der Wald-Michelbacher Förster Stefan Aßmann eine wirklich große Hilfe. Er stand uns vor und während des Baus immer mir Rat und Tat zur Seite. Tausend Dank dafür Stefan, du warst der dritte Mann im Bunde!

Und last but not least ein riesiges Dankeschön an Gudrun und Hans, die das ganze Baumhaus überhaupt erst möglich gemacht haben.
